The Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES Technology Services team supports districts in implementing technology plans tailored to their specific needs. Services range from technical repair and preventative maintenance to instructional technology coordination and support. By partnering with E2CCB, districts can access a variety of resources to ensure their technology is maintained and effectively integrated into the learning environment.
Technical Repair Services
E2CCB offers comprehensive repair services for district devices like iPads and Chromebooks. Technicians are available to complete repairs at E2CCB’s location or visit districts for on-site AV equipment maintenance and small wiring projects. Districts can also purchase equipment parts and consumables, such as bulbs, batteries, and AV accessories, as needed.
Technology Coordination
A dedicated technology coordinator helps districts develop and implement instructional technology plans. This service identifies district needs, provides training, and ensures successful integration of technology in the classroom.
Computer Technical Assistance
E2CCB offers both shared and hourly computer technical support. Services include hardware maintenance, software installation, network management, and general troubleshooting, allowing districts to maintain seamless technological operations.
Technology Consortium
This service supports the development and implementation of instructional technologies. Districts can access technical assistance, instructional resources, and consultation to ensure the effective integration of technology across various curriculum areas.
Ed-Law 2D
Ed-Law 2D is a critical component of the Technology Services provided by Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES. This New York State regulation focuses on protecting student data privacy and security, ensuring that all school districts comply with strict guidelines for handling sensitive information. E2CCB supports districts in implementing secure data practices, providing the tools and expertise needed to meet the requirements of Ed-Law 2D and safeguard student and staff information.
