Westfield Academy and Central School District Seeks Superintendent
The Westfield Academy and Central School District is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as its next Superintendent of Schools. The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable and dynamic administrator with a proven record of improving student outcomes through innovative instructional practices and personalized learning initiatives. The Superintendent will work closely with the Board of Education to provide outstanding leadership and maintain a strong educational program.
The Westfield Academy and Central School District is located in the heart of Lake Erie Wine Country and offers a rich history, extensive cultural opportunities, and a variety of community organizations. The district has a long history of student academic success and extracurricular involvement, as well as a well-educated, skilled, and knowledgeable staff. The instructional program is well-articulated and utilizes up-to-date teaching techniques, including extensive use of 1:1 technology at all grade levels.
The Board of Education is seeking a candidate who is an open, honest, and accessible leader, capable of forming relationships and building trust with all stakeholders. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the district’s future with the hiring, mentoring, and evaluation of new faculty and staff members.
The Board prefers candidates with a minimum of five years of education experience and requires candidates to have a minimum of three years of administrative experience and possess a NYS School District Administrator or NYS School District Leader certification. The Board is prepared to offer a three-year contract with a salary of up to $170,000 and a commensurate benefit package.
