On December 16th, students from the E2CCB at Chautauqua Lake program had the amazing opportunity to receive free haircuts, thanks to the talented stylists from Main street salon and co!
This generous initiative not only gave our students a chance to look and feel their best but also demonstrated the power of community partnerships. We’re incredibly grateful to Main St Salon for sharing their time, skills, and kindness with our students.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this day special! Your support means the world to us and shows just how much we can accomplish when we work together. ❤️
Sixth graders from Dunkirk City School District recently visited WNY P-TECH to learn about the different pathways and to participate in a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activity! 🏫👋👦
During their visit, students completed an egg drop experiment with the assistance of Principal Jeffrey Teluk and also toured the Dunkirk building; 10 current WNY P-TECH students helped with the event.
"Our P-TECH students did an awesome job explaining the different pathways and helping students with the STEAM activity," said Nicole Donato, WNY P-TECH school counselor. "It was a nice introduction to P-TECH for the Dunkirk sixth graders and a good opportunity for some of our P-TECH students to demonstrate their leadership and teamwork skills."
