Hewes Educational Center students had an incredible opportunity to attend the @C.A.BOCES Winter Carnival at Holiday Valley on Feb. 13. They joined students from districts across Cattaraugus County to experience tubing, broom hockey, snow soccer, an obstacle course, and a hayride.
The event allowed our students to explore new things they may not have had the chance to do before, and they made some new friends along the way. The kids and adults all had a wonderful time!

For a second year, the Cosmetology programs at the LoGuidice and Hewes educational centers hosted “Love Yourself” events. Career & Technical Education juniors and seniors at both locations provided various hair 💇♀️ and nail 💅 services while foundation representatives promoted self-care initiatives.

Deputy Phil Lombardo and Hayden Burgeson with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office recently instructed juniors enrolled in the Criminal Justice program at the Hewes Educational Center on being a crime analyst. 👮♂️🚨👮♂️
The new position in Chautauqua County is beneficial to all law enforcement organizations. Burgeson also provided insights into her occupation and information on this growing field.
