Students enrolled in Culinary Arts at the LoGuidice and Ormsby educational centers recently put their skills and imagination to the test in annual gingerbread house competitions! 🏚️🎄🎅
Students were tasked with getting creative in designing their own gingerbread houses that were then voted on by faculty and staff at each center.
In the senior class at LoGuidice, Kingston Hall of Dunkirk and Jaylah Lozada of Fredonia took first place; Benjamin Latimore of Gowanda took second; and Jordan Swanson of Cassadaga Valley took third.
In the junior class, Anna Gilman of Forestville and Makaila Rosario of Fredonia took first place; Danielle Miller and Marcus Gamble, both of Gowanda, took second place; and Yadielys Cruz Montalvo and Geralys Diaz Figueroa, both of Dunkirk, took third.
In the senior class at Ormsby, Delorah Mast of Orchard Park took first place, Rachel Cappello of Orchard Park took second, and Reagan Feightner of East Aurora took third.
In the junior class, Khyley Sokero of Iroquois took first place, Genevieve Murray of Iroquois took second, and Johanna Tavernier of Holland took third.

Students and staff from the LoGuidice Educational Center once again helped spread joy by participating in the National Technical Honor Society Angel Tree Service Project by fulfilling 50 Christmas gifts for The Salvation Army! 🎁🎄🎅

Last week, E Building students at the LoGuidice Educational Center were visited by Santa and Mrs Claus ahead of Winter Recess. A big thank you to Jim Christy and Nancy Scott with the Beaver Club for taking the time to make it a special day for students! 🎅🎁🤶
The holiday season brought creativity and festive cheer to the Ormsby, Carrier, and LoGuidice Educational Centers with annual door decorating contests! 🚪🎄🎅
For the past couple of weeks, students and staff at each center worked to transform ordinary doors into extraordinary holiday-themed masterpieces.
At the LoGuidice Educational Center, the Welding program took top honors with its welding elves theme. At Carrier, two classrooms were crowned winners: the CDOS classroom for best overall and the Information Technology/Computer Systems classroom for most creative.
And at Ormsby, seniors in the Health Careers program took first place, with Small and Large Animal Science coming in second, and Cosmetology in third. In the junior class, Small and Large Animal Science took first, Small Animal Science in second, and Criminal Justice in third.

Earlier this fall, CAM P-TECH seniors in the Electrical Construction & Maintenance Electrician pathway visited Alfred State’s School of Applied Technology! 👏🏫🤝
Students took a tour of the school, received an overview of the electrical pathway, visited the campus store, and had lunch.

Students enrolled in the Criminal Justice program at the Hewes Educational Center helped out at last week`s "Holiday Whobilation" at Chautauqua Safety Village! 🎅🎄❄️
Students assisted with decorating and staffing the chilly event. The program`s patrol vehicle was decorated and held the Grinch in the Whobilation stationary parade.
