Juniors in the Criminal Justice program at the Hewes Educational Center were certified this month in Stop the Bleed! 🚨🚓🚒
These life-saving measures can be used by students not only in the criminal justice field but to potentially save lives at any time. Specifically, Stop the Bleed is a national campaign to improve survival rates in mass casualty events by teaching the public how to stop or slow bleeding.

The Hewes Educational Center recently held its annual College & Career Fair as well as open houses for Career & Technical Education and E Building students.
Nearly 50 businesses, colleges, and organizations were present for the College & Career Fair. During the open houses, families were able to meet with teachers and tour the programs.

The Ormsby Educational Center recently held its annual fall open house and career night! 🏫🍎👋
Current and prospective students and their families toured each of the Career & Technical Education classrooms, spoke with current students and instructors, and enjoyed the always-popular Taste of Ormsby food stations. 🥘🍗🥗
"We want families to see what we do," said Jodie Cormier, Ormsby counselor. "There are people who drive by and may not know what we do here. This gives them a chance to come in and see what we`re doing, and as soon as they come in they`re always impressed."
