E2CCB Hosts Opening Day At SUNY Fredonia

Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES held its 2024-25 Opening Day at SUNY Fredonia on Aug. 29, where hundreds of faculty and staff came together to reconnect and learn how their colleagues are supporting students across the region.

The event featured a keynote address by Mike Doughty, Assistant Superintendent for the Northeastern Regional Information Center. Dr. Doughty provided an insightful overview of the current state of artificial intelligence and its growing impact on schools. He highlighted the potential of AI tools to enhance education and shared his views on how these technologies can be leveraged positively within the classroom setting.
